Two years ago I started the tennis school “Tennis-Maniak” at the Agafia Tennis Club (www.kortytenisowe.waw.pl). I am also a club coach for TC Poland Tennis Club in Nowa Iwiczna (www.tcpoland.pl). I offer individual and group tennis classes. The level and content of the meetings is adjusted to the participants. I have a lot of experience working with kids, youth, and adults: beginning with pure recreation, through preparation to the amateur tournaments, and professional trainings. I can conduct classes in Polish as well as in English (I spent 5 summers as a Tennis-Pro in the US). History
My adventure with sport started when I was 8 years old in a sports club in Piotrków Trybunalski. I represented this club for 8 years at different tournaments in Poland. At that time I spent an incredible number of hours on court, that were made up by several titles, prizes, diplomas, and amazing memories. After I moved to Warsaw, I had no opportunity to continue the trainings, so my professional practice ended. Of course, I couldn’t quit the sport-life. That is why I applied to Warsaw Sports Academy and graduated in 2006 as the 2nd class Tennis Coach. After that, I began to improve my training skills, following the saying: “A man keeps on learning throughout all his life”. Outside the courts
I would like to have an additional life for every hobby that I have. - I would spend one of those lives on photography which fascinates me since my childhood. This passion was awarded two times by the exhibitions of „Fotomorgana” club at AWF in Warsaw. Photography to me is a specific kind of sensitivity to the surrounding world presented in the images.
- Through my second life, I would ride on the bicycle visiting every place on Earth. I think this is the best way to see the world. You can reach more places than by car and make enormous distances than with the help of your legs alone. Fast, efficient, ecological… what else do I need? I used to take part in marathons, cross-country and orientation rallies, but now I don’t have enough time for that.
- My third life would be fully sacrificed to the music. It has been one of my hobbies since early childhood when I played the guitar quite intensely (and quite loud). Music helps me to chill out, to show what I feel at the moment, to show happiness, sorrow, reflection…
- I would drive through my fourth life by my car (preferably to some interesting countries). I say “cars”, I mean „home mechanics” – everything can be improved. You can make it more fun, nicer, it can go faster, play music better – there is always something to be done. ;)
- During my fifth life I would stay at home and read: books, photo albums, or Internet sites. By a book I mean some fantasy, humor, or both by Terry Pratchett. I also enjoy photo books and albums.
- The sixth life would be travelling – no matter how, no matter where. Just meeting new people and new cultures. Watching the wonders of nature and civilization from the east to the west. Just to feel a different world.
- The seventh life is a combination of all the previous ones and this is the one I am living now. Tennis is its main point surrounded by pieces of other passions. The only limit is time: sometimes there is more of tennis, sometimes more of travel or photography.
My friends call me Maniac, because when I start doing something I always have to finish. My Mom has a different opinion: she says I’ve never finished cleaning my room. Well, nobody’s perfect, ;).
